Calling All Young Filmmakers
The Topanga Film Institute & Festival Young Filmmakers Showcase wants to hear what youth from around the world have to say and elevate their voices. Submit a film up to 12 minutes long in one of two categories: Scouts (7-12 years), and Seekers (13-17years). If a filmmaker does not yet have a completed film and wants to make one between now and the final deadline on September 23, they can check out this collection of movie-making videos and amazing short films recommended by the TFFYFS team: https://linktr.ee/TFFYoungFilmmakersShowcase. Up to 20 films will be selected to screen online and in person as part of this year’s Topanga Film Festival which takes place October 9th-16th, 2021. Contact Erica Phillipson (phillipson.erica@gmail.com) with questions. Entry fee is $20 but no one will be turned away. For rules and detailed instructions: filmfreeway.com/topangaFilmFestival. Topanga Film Institute is a 501[c]3 charitable organization.
