SAVE THE DATES! August 13 and 16. Free NOAA Weather Alert Radios will be given out on Saturday, August 13, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 16, 5 p.m.–7 p.m. at the Topanga Public Library, 122 N. Topanga Cyn. Blvd., Topanga, CA 90290. The radios are provided by a grant program for L.A.
County residents living within Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones, where poor cell coverage and/or power outages occur during a disaster. Complete a NOAA Weather Radio Distribution Form (LACoFD Division 7) (google.com) (bit.ly/LACORadio7) prior to picking up the radio.
