The Topanga music season always begins with the summer concert but the 38th Season did not begin this year because its performance hall at the Topanga Community Club is closed due to COVID-19.
Until the first concert of the new season is rescheduled, the Board of Directors encourages the Symphony’s fans to take note of the new logo designed by former Topanga resident, award-winning logo designer and graphic artist, Connie Schurr. Replicating the new logo is a newly minted lapel pin that is now available for purchase at: topangasymphony.com. This is a way to continue supporting this much-loved volunteer organization that has brought quality classical music to the canyon for 37 years.
Wear it proudly and let others know they can still support the Topanga Symphony.
The Board of Directors is also producing additional items: hats, bags, wine glasses, and t-shirts, that will be available for purchase soon.
Meanwhile, you can still support the Topanga Symphony as community members through tax-deductible donations to the “Friends of the Topanga Symphony,” that usually depends upon local businesses that place ads in the concert programs, and from generous grants from LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture Organizational Grant Program.
The Topanga Symphony is truly a shining star of the Topanga community and the surrounding Santa Monica Mountains. As we await the next concert performance, secure your Topanga Symphony lapel pin with the new logo and wear it proudly.
